Cedar Run Veterinary Services |

Due to the varied use and management of horses, Cedar Run Veterinary Services offers two types of preventative healthcare plans for it’s equine patients; a Horse Health Plan and a Stable Health Plan. With both plans, owners can enroll their horses with Cedar Run Veterinary Services to make monthly payments for preventative healthcare services to prevent having the total bill due at the time of service. This plan differs from other preventative healthcare plans offered by local veterinarians as it is customized to your horse’s needs . You do not pay for services you do not want or your horse does not need. If a horse is sold or passes away which is enrolled in the wellness program, any unused services may be credited to the account. Horse Health Plan is the more comprehensive plan. It is for owners who want individual veterinary recommendations to help their horse perform at it’s best: · Physical exam performed by a Cedar Run Veterinary Services veterinarian when vaccines are administered · Appropriate immunizations administered for horse’s assessed risk (only the most effective vaccines are administered by Cedar Run Veterinary Services veterinarians) · Veterinarian endorsed vaccine certificate · Improved deworming efficacy resultant from deworming recommendations biased on fecal egg shedding · EIA Testing (Coggins Certificate) · Individual dental consultation · Individual nutritional consultation · Individual hoof care consultation · Individual horse management recommendations Stable Health Plan (minimum of 6 horses with one owner or at one facility to qualify) allows owners to receive general recommendations pertinent to the herd management and saves $20—$40 annually per horse when costs are compared with our competitors: · Complementary physical exam performed by a Cedar Run Veterinary Services veterinarian when vaccines are administered. Includes Dental, nutritional, hoof care and management recommendations · Appropriate immunizations administered for horse’s assessed risk (only the most effective vaccines are administered by Cedar Run Veterinary Services veterinarians) · Veterinarian endorsed vaccine certificate · Improved deworming efficacy resultant from deworming recommendations biased on fecal egg shedding · EIA Testing (Coggins Certificate) Additional appropriate exams are offered to identify problems in individuals on an as needed basis. Individual services are billed in an itemized fashion. |
